  Reference Tab Word has its own, basic referencing system available via the 'References' tab on the ribbon. This lets you add references to a document and then create a document and then create a bibliography at the end of the text. References are stored in a master list, which can be used to add references to further documents. This tab gives you access to all the commands for creating references within your documents. Table Of Contents Table of contents - Drop-Down. provide an overview of your document by adding a table of contents. the drop-down contains the commands: Built-in, Insert Table of contents and save selection to table of contents Gallery. Add Text - Drop-Down. The drop-down contains the commands: Do Not show in Table of contents, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3.   Mailing Tab This tab contains all the mailing options that were in previous versions of word, in a much easier format. Specification, and also the position/alignment of the addresses. Selecting the printing Options tab and make the necessary changes. Click Ok. - - this tab contains everything needed to complete a successful mail merge. Create  Envelopes - Lets you create and point envelopes.  Labels - lets you create and print tables. Start Mail Merge. Drop-Down.  The drop-down contains the commands: Letters, Directory, Normal Word Document and step-by-step. Mail Merge Wizard.  Design Tab The Design tab includes table formatting, cell and table borders, arranging the table on the page, and the size of the table. Tip: you can hover over tools to see a short explanation of the tool's functionality Document Formatting Theme - Drop-Down. The drop-done contains the commands: Built-in, more Themes on Microsoft Office Online, Browse for Themes are Office, Apex, Aspect, Civic, Concourse, Equite, Flow, Foundry, Median, Metro, Module, Opulent, oriel, Origin, Paper, Solstice, Technic, trek, urban and Verve.   HOME TAB  --The Home Tab changes the font and size of the text, paragraph, and line spacing, copy and paste, change the organizational  structure of the document.   --The Home Tab is grouped into four distinct areas:  1)Clipboard  2)Font  3)Paragraph  4)styles  Undo - (Added in 365). (ctrl+Z).  Button with Drop-Down . Allowed you to undo changes, even after you have saved the document, as long as are within the   undo limits. By default, office saves the last 100 undoable actions. If you can't undo the action, the undo command changes.  to can't undo   Redo - (Added in 365). (ctrl+Y)  Button with Drop-Down.
